Why is there a new app and booking system?
Both the new booking system and app (coming soon) give greater control to our customers. For example you can see which classes are busiest, you can book a swimming session at 15 minute intervals and you have much greater control over your account.
Why have you changed the name?
Active Mid Devon is about getting more people more active, as well as being active in our communities. Our staff at all three sites, in Cullompton, Tiverton and Crediton undertake customer health checks, work with GPs on health referral schemes and encourage clubs to meet and socialise on site. We feel this new name, and a new look, will encompass this and shows our customers that we offer much more than sports halls to hire and swimming sessions to attend.
Will my direct debit be affected?
No. Direct Debits will remain the same and you do not need to take any action.
Can I book at the centre and via phone?
Yes, while we encourage use of the online booking system and app you can of course ring us or pop into reception.
Will my membership increase?
No, these new changes are not related to membership fees.
How many days in advance can I book a class?
Members can book 8 days in advance and non-members 7 days in advance.
Can I be added to a waiting list for a class which is full on the new systems?
Yes, you will receive an email notification once added to the waiting list as well as an email notification if/when a space becomes available.
