Active Tiverton is the newest of the Active Mid Devon’s leisure centres, situated in the heart of Tiverton offering many modern facilities. All tastes are catered for in this eye-catching building, decorated by local artists. There is a comprehensive fitness class programme with a variety of classes at different times of the day and an enthusiastic team of staff awaits you. With level access and plenty of space this facility is both pleasing on the eye and well equipped for young and old. With an ultraviolet light treatment system, the pool water requires very low chlorine levels so is lovely to swim in as you admire the surroundings. Active Mid Devon’s facilities will always operate with a manager on duty to deal with day-to-day functions, direct the team, and to be a point of contact with its visitors. The operational teams are supported by the strategic management team, who work across all sites in a specialist role. As part of Mid Devon District Council, Active Mid Devon is committed to maintain our facilities at the highest standards and work closely with colleagues in Property Services for maintenance and repair matters. Mid Devon District Council continuously invests in facilities, equipment and staff development, to ensure the leisure service is provided to the community to a premium standard, at local authority prices. All sites are fitted with Solar Photovoltaic panels to generate electricity reducing operational costs and carbon emissions.
